THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEM

• PREPARATION OF THE FOUNDATION: The foundation, on which the thermal insulation panels are to be fixed, has to be dry, dustless and defatted. The deviation from the plane must not exceed 5 mm per running meter. With greater unevenness, the foundation has to be rectified and evened out beforehand with rough coating - BAUMASTER FM 661 or BAUMASTER FM 662. It is not recommended that greater irregularities of the foundation are corrected with the thermal insulation panels.

• PREPARATION OF THE ADHESIVE: The powdered composition is added to water in proportion 3:1 (3 parts dry mixture to 1 part water), it is well stirred with an electric mixer, and is left to stay for 5 minutes (until complete dissolving of the polymeric additives) and is stirred again until a homogeneous solution is obtained. The time for working with the solution is 90 minutes.

1. LAYING OF THE ADHESIVE: The mixture is layed in stripes along the whole periphery of the thermal insulation panels and in heaps in chess-board order in their middle part.
2. ADHESION OF THE THERMAL INSULATION PANELS: They are fixed onto the foundation and are levelled by slight pressing and tapping, so that a plane surface is obtained (the panels are put on the wall crossing each other in the manner used for laying bricks). The fixed thermal insulation panels should not be left uncoated and exposed to direct sunlight for more than 15 days.
3. FIXING OF THE PANELS: They are fixed with nails onto the foundation, taking care while hammering them in not to disturb the panels' levelling.
4. COVERING THE NAILS WITH GLUE:
5. GROUND COATING:
• The preparation of the ground coat is carried out in the manner used for the glue.
• Laying of the ground coat - the solution is layed on the foundation with an indented putty knife (comb-pallet), with measurement of the indents - 5 х 5 mm.
6. LAYING OF THE REINFORCEMENT NET: in the layed in thin stripes ground coating mixture, an alkali resistant reinforcement fiberglass net is superimposed and pressed, so that the ground coating mixture comes out of the openings of the net. The SUPERPLAST solution is puttied with an adhesive trowel on the net, so that it is comletely coated with a layer thick 1-2 mm and an even and smooth surface is obtained. The corners of the facade are shaped with inox angle-shaped profiles (protective angle with net).
7. SECOND LAYER GROUND COATING: When the first layer ground coat is dry, a second layer is layed to completely even out the foundation and prepare it for the finishing coat. Subsequent treatment of the facade - laying of primers, pargets and facade paints is carried out only after the ground coat is completely dry, but not earlier than 7 days after it laying.
8. PRIMING: The primer is consistent with the colour of the pargeting.
9. FINISHING COAT: In the end, a finishing decorative layer of pargeting or facade paint is layed, coloured and decorated in a colour and effect of one's own choice, with which the visual presentation of the building is also accomplished.
