SELF-LEVELLING COMPOUND
 | 1. PRIMING: An important condition for laying "NIVELIX" is the sound foundation. A strict examination of the floor putty for weak spots and flaws is necessary. When there are same, they have to be dislodged and remade. If there are big cracks in the foundation, it is necessary that they are treated beforehand with "SUPERFIX" - in its capacity of repair composition. The foundation is cleared of waste, dust and fats and is then primed with "NIVELIX PRIMER". The primer is layed with a roller. 1st priming - primer dissolved in water 1:5;2nd priming - primer dissolved in water 1:3. |
| 2. PREPARATION: One bag of 20 kg "NIVELIX" is poured into the mixer's bucket or in an appropriate vessel and between 6-6,5 l of water are added, depending on the temperature of the environment. The solution is stirred with the electric mixer (400-600 rev/min) for 3 minutes. The obtained homogeneous mixture is left to stay for 5 minutes - until the complete dissolving of the chemical components. Then the solution is stirred again for 1-2 minutes. With mechanical laying - the bucket of the mixer is emptyed through a pump and hose. With manual laying - the vessel with "NIVELIX" is gradually emptyed on the primed floor. |  |
 | 3. LAYING: "NIVELIX" is spilled starting with the furthermost point of the room and going towards the door. |
| 4. SPREADING: During the spilling, in separate areas, usually where the currents from two different vessels meet, "NIVELIX" is spread with a long pallet, which should not leave any edges on the surface with its movement - this is a criteria for a well prepared solution. • TIME FOR MANIPULATION WITH THE SOLUTION - 20 MINUTES. • EXACT NORM OF EXPENDITURE: 1,5 kg/sq m for each mm layer thickness. |  |
 | 5. FINISHED FLOOR: After laying "NIVELIX" the appropriate temperature of the room should be provided (8-20оС). Direct sunlight and drafts should be prevented. 24 hours later the floor is finished. It can now be walked on. 48 later the floor is primed with solution 1:5.After 3 to 5 days the finishing flooring can be layed. With "NIVELIX RAPID" the floor can be walked on after 4 hours, and the finishing flooring can be layed after 1-2 days. |
